Traditional uses for Japanese Kuromoji Essential Oil include -
Kuromoji Essential Oil is extracted from wild trees that grow in Niigata, in Japan.
The product is completely sustainable as the oil is extracted from trees that have been pruned and/or cut as part of a Government programme that focuses on maintaining the countryside in Japan.
It has a soothing and relaxing effect on the mind, helping reduce tension when stressed and anxious.
When used in massage it helps improve the circulation and has a pleasant, gently warming and relaxing effect on the body.
Kuromoji relaxes tension in tight muscles and stiff joints with its strong anti-inflammatory properties. It can be used for neuralgia, arthritis and sports related injuries.
It can be effectively used in body skincare support when used regularly, and offers a highly anti-microbial and anti-oxidant profile that can protect the skin from infections.
Kuromoji can also be used to help respiratory conditions and reduce air-born infections when burnt and inhaled.
It has been used traditionally in Japan for generations, it is added to balms to help open the chest when breathing is laboured and is applied to the muscles and joints to ease discomfort when mobility is reduced and limited.
