Traditional uses for Cedarwood Essential Oil include -
Cedarwood is good for inflammation, arthritic pain, muscular aches, pains and tension.
It is also a useful insect repellent.
It has traditionally been used as an expectorant for upper respiratory congestion and soothing to a dry cough.
Cedarwood is nourishing to dry, itchy, inflamed and sore skin conditions, - good for eczema in particular.
It helps stimulate hair growth when used with rosemary, and is good for reducing dry and irritated scalps.
Cedarwood Essential Oil is calming and relaxing, it can reduce anxiety and acts as a gentle sedative, good for insomnia for this reason.
