Aroma Description - A fresh floral aroma with gently sweet undertones.
**Rose Otto is markedly more expensive than other types of Rose Essential Oil.
This is because of the method of extraction - Steam Distillation - which is usually one of the more affordable methods of extraction of Essential Oils from their base plant materials.
However with delicate floral petals it is not the most effective method of extraction, which is for other types of Rose usually a Solvent Extraction.
Solvent extraction can leave small traces of solvent and alcohol residue in the finished product, and for individuals with hyper-sensitive and allergic skin types this is not always the best choice, so steam distilled Rose is sadly a more expensive option but is also a more sensible option for those with deeply sensitive skins who still wish to benefit from the properties and qualities that Rose Essential Oil offers in a blend**
