Aroma - Jojoba Carrier has a very mild and light aroma, making it an excellent choice for Aromatherapy massage as its own aroma does not distract from the aroma of the blend being prepared.
Absorption rate - Absorbs slowly into the skin, taking a little longer than lighter, less nourishing carrier oils.

Traditional uses for Jojoba Golden Carrier include -
Jojoba is a liquid wax from the Jojoba bean and is an excellent choice for people with allergies and hyper-sensitive skin types as compared to nut and seed based carriers it is highly unlikely to cause a skin reaction.
Good for all skin types especially delicate and sensitive skins.
It is also widely used for dry and mature skin types as it is nourishing & helps to maintain a good moisture balance.
Used as a massage medium for hands on massage, as a Carrier Oil to dilute Essential Oils into and can also be added to skin care preparations to enhance and enrich the qualities of the blend or product.
When Jojoba Golden Carrier becomes cold it can gets increasingly cloudy and more viscous - until it solidifies at around 5 degrees Celsius. This is because it is a wax and not a regular carrier taken from a nut or seed base. Once it gets warmer again it looses these qualities.
Jojoba Golden Carrier Oil -
Can be used as a luxurious stand alone carrier/massage medium but is best used added in a 10-20% dilution to enrich and enhance lighter, less nourishing carrier oils.
Adding Jojoba to other Carrier Oils also increases the essential fatty acid content of the blend - Jojoba has very little fatty acid content and combining it with other carriers helps to increase the content of fatty acids which in turn help to keep the skin soft, smooth and supple.

Product Safety -
Always store pure Carrier Oils in an upright position with their cap firmly secured in place.
To maximise the shelf life of any Carrier Oil it should be stored out of direct sunlight, in a cool, dry environment. - A medicine cabinet is ideal or Carrier Oils can also be refrigerated* to prolong their shelf-life.
*Please note that some Carrier Oils will become more viscous and/or solidify if stored below room temperature and will remain so until gently brought back up to room temperature.
Carrier Oils should never be -

never be put in or near the eyes nor put on areas of damaged or inflamed skin.
