It is also an FCF product - this means it is Furocoumarin free - Furocoumarin's are the naturally occurring phototoxic constituents in regular Bergamot Essential Oil that have been removed to prevent skin sensitivity with direct sunlight or sunbed use.

Mantra's Bergamot Organic Essential Oil is also Bergapenten free - Bergapenten is a psoralem that is a naturally occurring chemical in Bergamot Essential Oil that also causes phototoxicity.
