Aroma Description - Fresh herbaceous and floral aroma with a gentle apple-like undertone.

 

Traditional uses for Chamomile Roman Essential Oil include -

Mild sedative to calm nerves and reduce anxiety by promoting relaxation, helps with insomnia and regulation of sleep patterns.

Antimicrobial and antioxidant properties, useful for hay fever, mucus congestion, irritations, swelling and skin conditions that are associated with allergy symptoms. 

Soothing to the skin and is anti-inflammatory in its effects - aids the recovery from bruises, burns and skin irritations, and is effective for arthritis.

Calming to digestive problems, eases acid indigestion, is antispasmodic and relaxes cramping in the digestive system as well as flatulence, and sickness/vomiting.

 

Chamomile Roman blends well with -

Cedarwood, Ylang Ylang, Vetiver, Sandalwood, Rosewood, Rosemary, Petitgrain, Lavender, Juniper, Jasmine, Eucalyptus, Cypress, Clary Sage and Bergamot Essential OIls amongst many others.
