Garlic like Onion Essential Oil is not for the meek-hearted Aromatherapy enthusiast!
It is very similar in its therapeutic index to Onion Essential Oil.
It has a very strong aroma and must be skilfully blended in very small quantities for use in Aromatherapy to make sure its aroma doesn't overpower other products used.
- However it is well worth using as its properties are incredibly useful!
Garlic is a great Essential Oil to use during cold and flu season as it helps support the Immune System and shields the body from bacterial and viral infections.
It is a decongestant and expectorant and can help clear and lessen the symptoms of a upper and lower respiratory infections.
Garlic is a powerful blood cleanser and de-tox agent, and is stimulating to liver function.
It has notable effects on the skin and hair when used in preparations for these areas.
It is brimming full of nutrients and qualities that help keep both skin and hair healthy. It is nourishing, softening and smoothing - helping to reduce the risk of hair damage / premature skin aging due to its impressive anti-oxidant profile.
