Aroma Description - Warm, green, woody aroma with a mildly spicy
undertone.
Traditional uses for Cypress Essential Oil include -
Useful diuretic, helps the body release toxins via urination. It also increases sweat and perspiration, which re-enforces the removal of toxins.
Deeply cleansing and an excellent tonic to the skin.
Helpful with respiratory conditions such as a build up of phlegm, asthma and bronchitis. It is an antispasmodic and helps reduce coughing.
Cypress is anti-spasmodic and helps reduce cramping and is soothing and relaxing to muscles.
Has a sedative effect - reducing stress, tension, and anxiety and helps to regulate sleep patterns - broken sleep and insomnia.
Cypress blends well with -
Bergamot, Rosemary, Orange, Cedarwood, Chamomile, Clary Sage, Lavender, Lemon, Mandarin, Geranium, Frankincense and Marjoram Essential Oils amongst many others.
