Extraction Method - Steam distillation.
Aroma Description - Citrus with a green, fresh woody aroma and a gentle
floral undertone.
Traditional uses for Petitgrain Essential Oil include -
Oil is anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic, so is a good choice for muscle aches, spasms, cramps and pains.
oil is a good sedative, and is useful blended with Lavender and Ho Wood for insomnia.
Petitgrain is also a powerful nervine (nerve tonic). making it helpful when treating anxiety, stress, fear, shock and anger conditions.
Used in skincare preparations it is gentle and refreshing - can be added to haircare products to reduce hair oil and is soothing to sensitive and irritated skin.
Petitgrain blends well with -
Cypress, Patchouli, Ginger, Clary Sage, Vetiver, Cardamom, and Black Pepper Essential Oils amongst many others.
