It is made using early harvest young Organic Olives without the use of heat or chemicals making the resultant product far richer in polyphenols (antioxidants) than regular Olive Oil.
Aroma - A mild and gently fruity aroma.
Absorption rate - Absorbs at a moderate rate into the skin, taking a little longer than lighter, less nourishing carrier oils. It leaves a gently oily residue on the skin after use.

Organic Olive Carrier is a useful addition to blends and products due to it's impressive richness in antioxidant polyphenols and fatty acids.
It is not recommended to use on excessively oily skin types but is very useful to rehydrate dry, mature and parched skin types.
It is used widely in a broad spectrum of products for the skin, hair and body and is very well known as a key ingredient in Olive Oil based soaps.
Organic Extra Virgin Cold Pressed Carrier is also deeply nourishing and is helpful for excessively dry hair, brittle nails and parched skin types, helping to form a moisturising, protective barrier over the area it is applied to. In this respect it is great to protect the skin from harsh elemental influences such as the cold & wet, windy or hot and dry conditions.
It can also be used to help reduce the appearance of recent stretch marks when applied topically and is also traditionally used to help loosen hard wax in the ears.

Product Safety -
Always store pure Carrier Oils in an upright position with their cap firmly secured in place.
To maximise the shelf life of any Carrier Oil it should be stored out of direct sunlight, in a cool, dry environment. - A medicine cabinet is ideal or Carrier Oils can also be refrigerated* to prolong their shelf-life.
*Please note that some Carrier Oils will become more viscous and/or solidify if stored below room temperature and will remain so until gently brought back up to room temperature.
Carrier Oils should never be -

never be put in or near the eyes nor put on areas of damaged or inflamed skin.
