Traditional uses for Japanese Yuzu Essential Oil include -
Yuzu Essential Oil is uplifting and refreshing to the body, and soothing/calming to the mind. It helps combat anxiety and nervous conditions when used regularly.
It is a strong anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory agent, making it useful in skin care support to de-toxify and remove impurities. It is great for oily and greasy hair and skin types as it can re-address and help normalize the balance of oil secretions.
In massage it is stimulating to the digestive and circulatory systems and helps to cleanse and remove impurities from the body.
There are no furanocoumarins found in Yuzu Essential Oil, unlike a many citrus oils - (they are the potentially phototoxic chemicals that can cause skin irritation and sensitivity particularly when you go out in the sun or use a sunbed.) So if you have sensitive skin and enjoy using citrus oils then Yuzu is a particularly safe choice.
