A relaxing Essential Oil, - soothing & calming it helps to promote a peaceful environment when burnt.
Catnip is an excellent insect repellent - and is widely used to help discourage flies, mosquitoes, and other flying insects. It is best used in a burner or diffuser with Citronella, which is another useful insect repellent.
When used in massage it is gently warming and helps reduce muscular aches, pains and spasms, and helps with toxin removal.
For skin care preparations it has a strong anti-oxidant index - when used regularly it can help minimalize free radical damage if environmental pollutants are a daily problem.
Catnip is a gentle and pleasant alternative to heavier oils such as Eucalyptus when combatting respiratory conditions. Catnip is good to help reduce the symptoms of upper and lower respiratory conditions and is a better choice for people who dislike strong aromas, children and the elderly.
