As it is such a precious product we can currently only offer it in a 1ml size.
Although it is not an Essential Oil we have positioned our Brown Ambergris Tincture in with our Essential Oil Range for ease of access to our Customers.
Ambergris is a highly prized and interesting product that has been used for centuries in the perfumery and culinary industries.
Ambergris is initially a secretion from the Bile Duct of Sperm Whale's that helps to surround and ease the passage of sharp objects (for example Squid Beaks and Cuttlefish) as they transit through the Whale's digestive system that could otherwise damage the Whale's bowel.
Ambergris is passed through the Whale and is excreted naturally with other waste products from the bowel. Ambergris then floats on the surface of the Sea and eventually washes up on the shore, where it is found and collected. Sometimes it is also found at Sea too but this is a more rare occurrence, - but it must be stressed that both methods of collection NEVER have direct contact with the Sperm Whales and Ambergris collected in this way is considered to be fine to process as it is just a collection of excreted waste products!
Matured Ambergris has a surprisingly subtle aroma which can be used to achieve a fantastic base framework to make beautiful and high end products as a quality fixative agent!
Our brown ambergris is macerated in alcohol to a 5% dilution.
Ambergris Tincture blends well with -
Gurjun Balsam, Copaiba, Frankincense, Myrrh, Benzoin, Oud and Sandalwood Essential Oils amongst many others.

Product Safety -
Always store pure Essential Oils/Absolute Oils/Tinctures in brown glass bottles in an upright position with their cap firmly secured in place.
To maximise the shelf life of any Essential Oil/Absolute Oil/Tincture it should be stored out of direct sunlight, in a cool, dry environment. - A medicine cabinet is ideal!
