Also known as Natsumikan Orange and Natsudaidai, Amanatsu is a very precious and rare Citrus Essential Oil, and we at Mantra Aromatherapy are delighted to offer it as part of our Rare and Remarkable Citrus Essential Oil range.
The aroma of Amanatsu Essential Oil is markedly different to a lot of Citrus essences - it has a bitter sweet green aroma, with a strong Neroli (Orange Blossom) floral quality to it, mixed with zesty Orange and Grapefruit tones too. The complex aroma makes it a great choice when preparing high end perfumes, and body/skincare preparations etc as the aroma is so luxurious.
As it is a rare product we are currently only able to offer pure Amanatsu Essential Oil in 1ml and 5ml sizes.
Amanatsu Essential Oil is uplifting to the body. It helps combat stress, tension, anxiety, mental fatigue and nervous conditions when used regularly.
As with a lot Citrus Essential Oils it is a strong anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory agent, making it useful in skin care support to de-toxify and remove impurities. It is great for oily and greasy hair and skin types as it can re-address and help normalize the balance of oil secretions.
In body massage it is stimulating to the digestive and circulatory systems and helps to cleanse and remove impurities from the body. Diluted correctly as part of a facial massage blend it will give the treatment a luxurious aroma that will de-stress and relax.
Amanatsu is also highly anti-bacterial, a useful anti-fungicidal agent and is naturally high in anti-oxidants, making it an excellent choice to combat aging.
This unique Essential Oil could also be used in candles, potpourri and soaps if you feel like making something very special.
