Virginian Red Cedarwood is good for inflammation, arthritic pain, muscular aches, pains and tension.
It is also a useful insect repellent, and works particularly well when combined with Citronella Essential Oil.
It has traditionally been used as an expectorant for upper respiratory congestion and soothing to a dry cough.
Virginian Red Cedarwood is nourishing to dry, itchy, inflamed and sore skin conditions, - good for eczema in particular, but also offers useful support for acne and dermatitis.
It helps stimulate hair growth when used with rosemary, and is good for reducing dry and irritated scalps.
