Traditional uses for Sweet Birch Essential Oil include -
Also known as Cherry Birch Essential Oil, Sweet Birch is a useful and interesting product.
A stimulating, refreshing and uplifting Essential Oil that lifts a low mood and reduces anxiety.
Sweet Birch is diuretic to the body, it aids toxin removal and is deeply cleansing.
It improves localized circulation when used in massage and also helps reduce muscular aches, pains and spasms due to its anti-inflammatory qualities.
This Essential Oil also has strong anti-microbial and anti-bacterial qualities and is useful to burn during cold and flu season to help protect from respiratory conditions and to boost the immune system.
Sweet Birch is used in many over the counter remedies, such as Tiger Balm and Deep Heat but must be used with caution as it can cause skin irritation if applied in anything other than low concentrations.
It should be avoided during pregnancy and breast feeding and a patch test is always recommended at least 24 hours before initial application to the body.
