Traditional uses for Tolu Balsam Essential Oil include -
Widely used in the high end perfumery industry, Tolu Balsam is a warming, soothing and relaxing Essential Oil used to reduce anxiety and stressful conditions.
Tolu has strong antibacterial, antifungal and antiparasitic qualities making it a great choice in skincare support.
In skincare preparations it is used for dry, chapped and cracked skins. It is a useful addition to face creams for mature, sun damaged and parched skin types.
Topically it can be blended and applied to help with minor cuts and skin parasites such as Scabies.
It has also been used for generations to help with respiratory conditions such as colds, catarrh, bronchitis and is an effective expectorant. It is found in many cough medicines and cough lozenges.
