Botanical Name - Vitamin E Carrier Oil - Tocopherol.
Colour - Pale to dark yellow.
Aroma - Minimal odour. Not recommended to use as a stand alone Carrier.
Absorption rate - As Vitamin E is added to other base products/Carrier oils it will absorb in at the rate of the other chosen base products.

Traditional uses for Vitamin E Carrier include -
Used to prolong the life of pre-blended products - helping slow down the rate of oxidation and reducing the rate that peroxides form in essential oil blends.
(Peroxide formation is not good for the skin and retarding the rate of peroxide formation helps keep the product fresh and usable).
Widely used for dry, sun damaged and mature skin types as it is nourishing and replenishing.
Cosmetic Vitamin E in one of its purest forms contains a minimum of a 70% mixture of alpha, beta, gamma and delta tocopherols , making it a useful natural antioxidant with strong anti-aging qualities.
Vitamin E Carrier Oil -
Do not use Vitamin E Carrier neat on the skin, it should be added to other Carrier Oils/Creams/Gels/Lotions etc before being applied to the skin. Vitamin E Carrier is thick and sticky compared to lighter Carrier Oils.
As a guideline -
- to help prevent oxidation in blends -
0.2% dilution - 2 drops of Vitamin E should be used per 100ml of base product.
- in face care preparations -
0.5%-1% dilution - 0.5% dilution means 1 drop of Vitamin E can be added per 20mls of base product, 1% dilution means 1 drop of Vitamin E can be added per 10mls of base product.

It is a Vegan product that is cruelty free.
Is presented for retail in a pharmaceutical grade brown glass bottle with a tamper proof cap (for quantities of up to 100ml) for ease of use, or is presented in an opaque wide lid plastic bottle for 250ml and upwards sizes.
Each product purchased is freshly decanted from verified stock in the Uk in Wales.

Product Safety -
Always store pure Carrier Oils in an upright position with their cap firmly secured in place.
To maximise the shelf life of any Carrier Oil it should be stored out of direct sunlight, in a cool, dry environment. - A medicine cabinet is ideal or Carrier Oils can also be refrigerated* to prolong their shelf-life.
*Please note that some Carrier Oils will become more viscous and/or solidify if stored below room temperature and will remain so until gently brought back up to room temperature.
Carrier Oils should never be -
taken internally,
never be put in or near the eyes nor put on areas of damaged or inflamed skin.
they should be stored away from children and used with caution around babies, small children and pets.
