Traditional uses for Texan Cedarwood Essential Oil include -
Texan Cedarwood is a notable anti-inflammatory and can be useful for arthritic pain, muscular aches, strains, pains and tension.
It is also a useful insect repellent, and works particularly well when combined with Citronella and Clove Essential Oils in an Oil Burner or Vapour Ring.
It has traditionally been used as an expectorant for upper respiratory congestion and is soothing to a dry and barking cough.
Texan Cedarwood is nourishing to dry, itchy, inflamed and sore skin conditions, - good for eczema in particular, but also offers useful support for acne and dermatitis.
It helps stimulate hair growth when used with rosemary, and is good for reducing dry and irritated scalps.
Texan Cedarwood Essential Oil is gently soothing and relaxing, it can reduce stress and acts as a gentle sedative, good for insomnia for this reason, helping to re-address broken sleep patterns when burnt.
